Zapotec

Zapotec is a 5-year-old gelding from South Africa, trained by Louis Goosen. He is the offspring of the stallion Duke Of Marmalade and the mare Pennington Sands. Zapotec has not yet achieved a maiden victory, having failed to win in six races. In his latest outing at Greyville on July 17, 2023, Zapotec was ridden by C Maujean and ended the race unplaced, trailing behind the winner, George Handel.
