Yewood is a 7-year-old gelding from Ireland, trained by T O’Brien in Cork. He is the offspring of the stallion Getaway and the mare Saddlers Green. Yewood has not yet achieved maiden victory, having lost all 9 of his races so far. In his latest outing at Kilbeggan on July 13, 2024, he was ridden by J P Shinnick and finished out of the placings, trailing behind the winner.
