Xiamen is a 5-year-old brown gelding from New Zealand, trained by R L Mauger. He is the offspring of the stallion Highly Recommended and the mare Tui. Xiamen has not yet achieved a maiden victory, having competed in four races without winning. In his latest race at Phar Lap Raceway on October 6, 2023, Xiamen, ridden by Akshay Balloo, finished in 14th place, behind the winner Our Milly Bee.
