Wurtzite is a 4-year-old female horse from Japan, trained by Naoyuki Matoba. She is the offspring of the stallion Toby’s Corner and the mare Caracal. Throughout her career, Wurtzite has won one race. On March 7, 2023, at Ohi, she was ridden by Ryuji Tatsushiro and achieved her biggest victory to date, earning a prize of $2,034,900 by defeating Fukufukutenten.
