Winx

Winx is now retired, but her legacy will undoubtedly endure for a long time, if not forever.

The legendary mare, who was trained by Chris Waller and primarily ridden by Hugh Bowman throughout her career, is famed for her remarkable streak of 33 consecutive race victories over four years, which includes 25 Group 1 wins. Both of these records—most consecutive wins and most Group 1 victories—stand as Australasian milestones.

After being acknowledged as the best filly and the best turf horse worldwide, it was officially confirmed in 2018 that Winx was ranked the top racehorse globally in the World’s Best Racehorse Rankings.

Notably, Winx is only the third horse to be inducted into the Australian Racing Hall.
