Watergate is a five-year-old bay mare from New Zealand, trained by Lance Robinson at Riccarton Park. She is the offspring of the stallion Contributer and the mare Due Diligence. Throughout her career, Watergate has achieved one victory. On November 9, 2023, at Taupo, she was ridden by Warren Kennedy and secured her most notable win to date, taking first place in the $18,500 3yo+ Maiden Set Weight With Allowances, beating Yesterday’s Gone.
