War Ensign is a 6-year-old chestnut mare from the United States, trained by Gregory Foley. She is the offspring of the stallion Midshipman and the mare Showing Home. Throughout her career, War Ensign has achieved one victory. On March 19, 2023, at Fair Grounds, she was ridden by Mitchell Murrill and secured her most notable win by taking first place in the $9,600 Maiden Claiming race, beating Two Hands Full.
