Wakea

Wakea is a 7-year-old mare from Japan, trained by T. Tezuka. She is the offspring of the stallion Heart’s Cry and the mare Cherry Collect. Wakea has not yet achieved maiden victory, with no wins in 9 races. In her latest race at Tokyo on November 25, 2023, she was ridden by Junji Shimada and finished in 9th place, trailing behind the winner, Dobune.
