Waikuku, an eight-year-old bay gelding, was bred in Ireland and is now trained by Hong Kong-based John Size. Sired by Harbour Watch and out of the dam London Plane, Waikuku has achieved Group One success despite having yet to earn any prize money. This impressive feat solidifies his status as a top-tier racehorse. His most notable victory came on January 23, 2022, at Sha Tin, where he was ridden by Zac Purton to win the $12,000,000 Open Set Weight race, besting the formidable Golden Sixty.
