Vermelho is a 2-year-old dark bay or brown colt from the United States, trained by Cherie Devaux. He is sired by the stallion Constitution and his dam is Ruby Lips. Vermelho has not yet achieved maiden status, having lost his only race attempt. In his latest race at Churchill Downs on September 29, 2024, Vermelho was ridden by Jose Ortiz and did not place, finishing behind the winner.
