Velvety is a 4-year-old female horse trained by Luigi Riccardi, who operates out of an unlisted location. She is the offspring of the stallion Purge and the mare Raised Right. Velvety has yet to achieve a maiden victory, having not won any races in 10 tries. In her latest race at Seoul on May 4, 2024, Velvety, ridden by Johan Victoire, secured a 2nd place finish, trailing the winner.
