Seven-year-old mare Vayu, trained by Japan-based Masato Hayashi, is the offspring of stallion Lord Kanaloa and dam Scarlet Dance. Vayu’s racing career boasts one victory. This significant win came on May 5th, 2023, at Funabashi. Ridden by Tatsuya Yamaguchi, Vayu secured first place in Race 8 (C1), a race with a purse of $2,154,600, beating out competitor Lovely Hatch.
