Unexpected Edge

Unexpected Edge is an eight-year-old bay gelding from Ireland, trained by Dean Coleman in Bridgend. The horse is the offspring of the stallion Flemensfirth and the mare Thynetocatcher. So far in its career, Unexpected Edge has secured one victory. On April 21, 2024, at Howick, with Charlie Sprake as the jockey, Unexpected Edge achieved its most notable win, claiming first place in the $4,363 Maiden (Div 2) 12st race, defeating the competition.
