Ubetya is a 9-year-old gelding from Ireland, trained by Jedd O’Keeffe, who operates out of Leyburn. He is the offspring of the stallion Le Fou and the mare Valentina Gaye. Throughout his career, Ubetya has achieved three race victories. His most notable win occurred on May 29, 2023, at Cartmel, where he was ridden by Henry Brooke and triumphed in the $6,575.00 Molson Coors Handicap Chase, beating Marshalled.
