Toscan Genius is a 7-year-old gelding from France, trained by B Ellison, who operates out of Malton. He is the offspring of the stallion Deep Impact and the mare Shagah. Throughout his career, Toscan Genius has secured one victory. On September 8, 2023, at Newcastle, he was ridden by Ben Robinson and achieved his most notable win thus far, earning the prize in the $3,245 Northumbrian Wateraid Handicap, beating Lord Torranaga.
