The Penny is a 6-year-old female horse from Ireland, trained by J C McConnell in Meath. She is the offspring of the stallion Kodiac and the mare Kathoe. The Penny has not yet achieved her first victory, having competed in 5 races without a win. In her latest race at Curragh on October 31, 2023, she was ridden by D W O’Connor and placed 19th, trailing the winner, Merisi Diamond.
