The Contessa is a 4-year-old dark bay/brown filly from the United States, trained by Keri Brion at Wexford. She is sired by the stallion Jess’s Dream and is out of the mare Brass Cat. The Contessa has not yet achieved maiden status, as she has not won any races in her two attempts. In her latest race at Gulfstream on January 8, 2024, she was ridden by Javier Castellano and finished out of the money, trailing behind the winner, Cavu.
