Tazawako

Tazawako is a 3-year-old filly from Japan, trained by Michael Maker. She is the offspring of the stallion California Chrome and the mare Lake Ponchatrain. Tazawako has not yet won a race, having made one attempt so far. In her latest race at Churchill Downs on October 29, 2023, she was ridden by Luis Saez and came in 9th place, trailing behind the winner, Toasted Roll.
