Tamahagane

Tamahagane is a 6-year-old chestnut mare from Australia, trained by Barry Lockwood, who operates out of Eagle Farm. She is the offspring of the stallion Street Boss and the mare Twelve O’Clock Rock. So far in her career, Tamahagane has achieved one victory. On July 6, 2024, at Beaudesert, she was ridden by Kirk Matheson and secured her most notable win to date, claiming the $30,000 Maiden Handicap by defeating Beans Means.
