Sweet Pepper is a 5-year-old filly from South Africa, trained by Sean Tarry. She is the offspring of the stallion Trippi and the mare Green Pepper. So far, Sweet Pepper has won three races in her career. Her most notable victory came on June 4, 2022, at Scottsville, where she was ridden by Calvin Habib and secured a win in the $312,500 Allan Robertson Championship (Grade 1), beating Glittering Girl. She has proven to be a lucrative horse for bettors, as backing Sweet Pepper throughout her career would have resulted in a 134 percent return on investment.
