Sumac is a 4-year-old gelding from Ireland, trained by C Wallis at Ardleigh. He is the offspring of the stallion Belardo and the mare Spring Eternal. Sumac has not yet achieved a victory, having participated in 21 races without winning. In his latest race at Southwell on March 31, 2024, he was ridden by Billy Garritty and finished unplaced, trailing the winner Brother Dave.
