Sternland is a 6-year-old bay mare from New Zealand, trained by Mark W Walker, who operates out of Cranbourne. She is the daughter of the stallion Astern and the dam Landslide. Sternland has not yet achieved a maiden victory, with no wins from 15 races. In her latest outing at Matamata on December 23, 2022, Sternland, ridden by Opie Bosson, finished in 6th place, trailing the winner Vino Valentino.
