Start Well is a five-year-old bay mare from the United States, trained by Walter Daigle. She is a progeny of the stallion Upstart and the mare Well Spun. Throughout her racing career, Start Well has achieved two victories. Her most notable win occurred on February 23, 2024, at Delta Downs, where jockey Jansen Melancon rode her to victory in a $9,525 Claiming race, beating Sara’s Sapphire.
