Spurious is a 2-year-old dark bay or brown colt from the United States, trained by Todd Pletcher. The horse is the offspring of the stallion Authentic and the mare Dontmesswithjoanne. Spurious has not yet won a race, having made one attempt so far. In its latest race at Gulfstream on October 5, 2024, with jockey Edgard Zayas, Spurious finished in third place, trailing behind the winner.
