Special Mate is a 3-year-old bay filly trained by Kang Gon. She is the offspring of the stallion With Distinction and the mare Dancing With Stars. Special Mate has not yet won a race, despite competing in eight races. In her latest race at Busan on August 23, 2024, she was ridden by Jo Chang Wook and did not place, finishing behind the unidentified winner.
