Spanish John

Spanish John is a 6-year-old gelding from Ireland, trained by P A Fahy in Carlow. He is the offspring of the stallion Vendangeur and the mare Black Belt. Throughout his career, Spanish John has achieved one victory. On August 14, 2023, at Ballinrobe, he was ridden by M J M O’Sullivan and secured his most notable win to date, earning $6,300 in the Broderick’s Electric Handicap Hurdle (80-95), where he triumphed over Thefaithfulindian.
