Southern Summer is a 6-year-old gelding from the United States, trained by Sherry Armstrong. He is the offspring of the stallion Shackleford and the mare You Laughin. So far, Southern Summer has not achieved maiden status, having failed to win in 8 races. In his latest outing at Zia Park on December 21, 2023, he was ridden by Alfredo Juarez Jr. and finished in third place, trailing the winner, Push Through.
