Southern Black is a 2-year-old female horse from Japan, trained by Yasuhiro Nemoto. She is the offspring of the stallion Black Tide and the mare Rose Gold. Southern Black has not yet secured her first victory, as she has not won any of her two races. In her latest competition at Tokyo on October 19, 2024, she was ridden by Yoshitomi Shibata and placed 6th, finishing behind the winner.
