South Gelato is a 6-year-old filly from Japan, trained by Shigenobu Isaka. She is the offspring of the stallion South Vigorous and the mare Sakura Fleuret. So far, South Gelato has not achieved her maiden victory, having raced 17 times without a win. In her latest race at Chukyo on September 22, 2024, she was ridden by Ryuji Wada and finished out of the placings, trailing behind the winner.
