Sorpreso is a 4-year-old gray/roan colt from the United States, trained by Edward Delauro. He is the offspring of the stallion Frosted and the mare Stowe White. Throughout his career, Sorpreso has achieved one victory. On March 18, 2023, at Aqueduct, he was ridden by Trevor McCarthy and secured his most notable win to date, earning a purse of $19,250 in the Maiden Claiming race, where he triumphed over Boys Code.
