Sliogan is a three-year-old bay filly from France, trained by J C McConnell in Meath. She is the offspring of the stallion Zelzal and the mare Shakila. Sliogan has not yet achieved her first win, having competed in three races without success. In her latest race at Gowran Park on October 22, 2024, Siobhan Rutledge was the jockey, and Sliogan finished without placing, trailing behind the winner.
