Sittingonthefence is a 7-year-old mare from Ireland, trained by Stephen Gerard Carey in Kildare. She is the offspring of the stallion Getaway and the mare Sweetbitter. Throughout her career, Sittingonthefence has achieved one victory. On August 23, 2023, at Sligo, she was ridden by J J Slevin and secured her most notable win to date, earning $6,300 in the Kevin Egan Cars Handicap Hurdle (80-102), where she triumphed over Dragon’s Pass.
