Senegal is a 3-year-old gelding from the United States, trained by Jeremiah Englehart. He is the offspring of the stallion Solomini and the mare Holly’s Star. Senegal has not yet secured a victory, having raced six times without winning. In his latest race at Belmont At The Big A on November 1, 2024, he was ridden by Jose Ortiz and finished in second place, just behind the winner, Berning Beauty.
