Schillaci is a 12-year-old gelding from South Africa, trained by Gavin Van Zyl. He is the offspring of the stallion Noordhoek Flyer and the mare Laughing Matter. Throughout his career, Schillaci has won one race. His most notable victory occurred on January 30, 2016, at Turffontein, where he was ridden by Ryan Munger and triumphed in the $89,992.00 Soccer GG Maiden Plate, finishing ahead of Tiki Torch. Schillaci has retired from racing, with his final race taking place on December 1, 2016, at Vaal.
