Sandy's Refugee

Sandy’s Refugee is a three-year-old bay gelding from the United States, trained by Erin Carpio. The horse is the offspring of the stallion Winchill and the mare Show Shape. Sandy’s Refugee has not yet won a race, despite having competed four times. In its latest race at Penn National on August 2, 2024, with jockey Inoel Beato, Sandy’s Refugee secured third place, following the winner Our Ethan Charles.
