Sand Cast is a 2-year-old gray or roan colt from the United States, trained by Larry Demeritte. He is the offspring of the stallion The Factor and the mare Neck Of The Moon. Sand Cast has not yet achieved maiden status, as he has not secured a victory in four races. In his latest outing at Keeneland on October 13, 2024, Sand Cast, under the guidance of jockey Rafael Bejarano, finished without placing, trailing behind the winner.
