Safura is a 5-year-old chestnut mare from New Zealand, trained by Mark W Walker, who operates out of Cranbourne. She is the offspring of the stallion Almanzor and the mare Corsage. So far in her career, Safura has achieved one victory. On January 25, 2023, at Matamata, she was ridden by Craig Zackey and secured her most notable win to date, claiming victory in the $14,000 3yo+ Maiden Set Weight With Allowances race, beating Bridgerton.
