Russell is a 4-year-old dark bay or brown gelding from the United States, trained by Ryan Kenney. He is the offspring of the stallion Stay Thirsty and the mare Baby Russ. Throughout his career, Russell has achieved one victory. His most notable win occurred on July 24, 2022, at Sacramento, where he was ridden by Pedro Terrero and triumphed in a $6,667 Maiden Claiming race, beating Oakdale Road.
