Royal Rio is a 5-year-old grey gelding from France, trained by Mme D Mele. He is the offspring of the stallion Martaline and the mare Royale Surabaya. Royal Rio has not yet achieved his first victory, having raced twice without winning. In his latest race at Auteuil on October 20, 2023, he was ridden by C Lefebvre and placed 4th, finishing behind the winner, July Flower.
