Rookie Salsa is a 7-year-old dark bay or brown gelding from the United States, trained by Richard Sillaman. He is the offspring of the stallion Two Step Salsa and the mare Kalambaka Queen. Throughout his career, Rookie Salsa has won two races. His most notable victory came on March 25, 2023, at Tampa Bay Downs, where he was ridden by Mario Fuentes and won an $8,150 claiming race, beating Litigant.
