Rigel

Rigel is a 4-year-old gelding from the United States, trained by Murat Sancal. He is the offspring of the stallion Carpe Diem and the mare Major Z. Throughout his career, Rigel has won one race. On August 25, 2023, at Gulfstream, he was ridden by Edwin Gonzalez and achieved his biggest victory to date, winning the $27,305 Maiden Special Weight and surpassing Boy O’ Boy.
