Resurgence

Resurgence is a 4-year-old gelding from South Africa, trained by Kelly Mitchley. He is the offspring of the stallion Gold Standard and the mare Light My Candle. Throughout his career, Resurgence has achieved one victory. On June 7, 2024, at Fairview, with S Khumalo as the jockey, he secured his most notable win to date in the $46,875 Racehorse Owners Association Maiden Plate, beating Statesman.
