Redkirk Warrior is a gelding born on April 6, 2011, sired by Notnowcato and out of the Selkirk mare Flag. He is trained by Lindsay Park’s Ben Hayes, David Hayes, and Tom Dabernig at their stables in Euroa and Flemington.
After winning his first two races at Yarmouth and Ascot, Redkirk Warrior was sold to race in Hong Kong, where he secured a victory over 1600m and achieved a placing over 1800m in five starts. He won the Group III Sandown Stakes (1500m) during his second race in Australia, but it was in 2017 that he truly excelled.
