Purple Octopus is a 3-year-old gelding from the United States, trained by Hugo Rodriguez. He is the offspring of the stallion Adios Charlie and the mare Grin. To date, Purple Octopus has achieved one victory in his racing career. On March 25, 2024, at Hawthorne, he was ridden by Alexis Centeno and secured his most notable win, earning $6,668 in a Maiden Claiming race, where he triumphed over Larry’s Lunchbox.
