Proficient is a 3-year-old filly from the United Kingdom, trained by S Kirk in Upper Lambourn. She is the offspring of the stallion Expert Eye and the mare Tropical Treat. So far, Proficient has not won a race, having competed six times without success. In her latest race at Bath on September 13, 2023, she was ridden by Connor Planas and did not place, finishing behind the victor, Go Your Own Way.
