Pounamu

Pounamu is a three-year-old filly from Japan, trained by Masato Hayashi. She is the offspring of the stallion Satono Diamond and the mare Casta Diva. Pounamu has not yet won a race, having made eight attempts without breaking her maiden status. In her latest race at Funabashi on October 29, 2024, Pounamu, ridden by Kota Motohashi, placed sixth, trailing behind the winner, Linaria.
