Poet’s Day is a 4-year-old bay gelding from Australia, trained by Peter Fleming in Rockhampton. He is the offspring of the stallion Domesday and the mare Poet’s Wish. Throughout his career, Poet’s Day has achieved victory in 5 races. On July 22, 2023, at Gold Coast Poly, he was ridden by Jag Guthmann-Chester and secured his biggest win to date, taking home the prize in the $28,000 Benchmark 58 Handicap, beating Pernell.
