Plettenberg is a 4-year-old gelding from South Africa, trained by Michael Roberts. He is the offspring of the stallion Willow Magic and the mare Checcetti. So far in his career, Plettenberg has achieved one victory. On March 31, 2024, at Greyville, he was ridden by Rachel Venniker and secured his biggest win to date, claiming the prize in the $62,500 Track And Ball Gaming Maiden Plate, where he bested Rototo.
