Planet is a three-year-old gelding from the United States, trained by Cipriano Contreras. He is the offspring of the stallion Mendelssohn and the mare Stellar Moon. So far, Planet has not secured a victory, having raced seven times without winning. In his latest outing at Horseshoe Indianapolis on October 16, 2024, he was ridden by Emmanuel Esquivel and came in second place, finishing behind the winner.
