Pequot is a three-year-old bay gelding from New Zealand, trained by Lance Robinson at Riccarton Park. He is the offspring of the stallion Vanbrugh and the mare Sensibility. Pequot has not yet achieved maiden status, as he has not won any races from one attempt. In his latest race at Riccarton Park Synthetic on August 24, 2024, he was ridden by Kendra Bakker and secured a third-place finish, trailing the winner Diablo Blanco.
